In 2015, I visited my friend Jim in Hawaii. That week was transformational in helping to get me out of a rut and headed in more purposeful and fulfilling directions, and it would not have happened without our friendship.
In 2016, I visited friends in Ireland, and many of the people I met that week are now very close friends.
